Contagious Enthusiasm

Why and how can a positive attitude directly affect your
success? Your mood affects your beliefs, which in turn
reflects onto your personal life and whatever you do.
If you are in a negative mood, it will sweep
through your life like a wild fire.

Staying positive and enthusiastic is essential. A positive attitude along with
contagious enthusiasm will help you in life.

Even if you think of yourself as a marketing zero for example(i used
to think like that),you can make a good start towards becoming a
marketing hero if you have a positive state of mind and contagious enthusiasm.

Although you know that enthusiasm is contagious, it is also
contagious to reflect on negative energy. In fact, it is
even easier for us to pick up negative vibes and reflect
them internally in our daily lives.

So watch out for negative energy and stay away from negative
forces in your life. Being positive will promote your self-
esteem, self-belief and help you avoid depression.
Go beyond just memories of success and bring to mind
anything that makes you feel good, you'll feel better, more confident
and the future will look more promising!

You are what you think and when you think and feel stronger,
you are stronger!!

So smile and make it a great day!

Think About What You Think About

1. …And if you catch yourself thinking about unhappiness, ill health and adversity, “change the channel” and think about what you want to happen!

2. When something happens by chance, follow up. "Lucky" people tend to notice and act on good things that occur by happenstance.

3. Believe that good things will happen. Expectations have a way of coming true.

4. When bad things happen, look for the bright side; i.e., “what did I learn from that?” or, “how do I keep it from happening again?” Don't dwell on it, move on!

5. If the horse dies, dismount. Don't continue to pour money and effort into a lost cause.

6. Don’t look for love in the wrong places… not just romantic love but the love of “stuff.” Stuff is O.K., but understand the delusion of “I'll be happy when I have this or that,” or “when I live over there,” or “when this happens.” Happiness is a state of mind in which our thinking is pleasant most of the time.

7. Failure is a CHOICE made by the undisciplined. Failing to meet your objectives, regardless of what they are, is a choice, because something else has been given higher priority. If you fail, it is because you choose to fail.

8. You don't “catch” depression and you don't “catch” happiness… you “create” them by the thoughts you put into your mind. Carefully choose what you read, listen to and the people with whom you associate.

Remove Limiting Beliefs

Do you know that our beliefs are never neutral?. They either hold us back or
move us forward, but what many of us forget, is that we
choose what we believe.

Your attitudes and beliefs determine your thoughts and
feelings and logically from that, you make choices and
decisions. For example, if your dream is say to be the best in whatever it is that you do but you don't believe it's possible, you may have
thoughts such as, "it's going to be too difficult," or you
may feel overwhelmed by the idea.

Some people have what I’d call scarce mentality and this
translates to thoughts or comments such as, "I don't have
enough time, money or energy."

Others are plagued with inadequacy and sounds like, "I'm
not (blank) enough." The most common fill-ins include: "I'm
not: old enough, young enough, rich enough, good enough or smart
enough."

Tell you what, if you follow these thinking, chances are high that you will
give up before you fully explore the possibilities around
your dream

On the other hand, if you believe in yourself and therefore
believe in your dreams, you are more likely to realize how
much you want this dream and will be more likely to act on
it. A positive belief will support you while a negative
belief may destroy you; or at least your dream.

Keep dreaming, keep trusting and keep believing, the sky is just the beginning!!!

Encouraging Others

If you are in a valley, then remember this. Others have been
there (including myself) so hang in there you can do it.

Whatever your goal is, maybe attaining a dream like building a
business or raising a family...remember others have done
it... you can too. Hang in there.

But if you are at a peak. Do not underestimate what a few kind
words of encouragement might do for those around you.

So encourage someone today with a kind word and who knows you might be a life saver!!!

On Facing Adversity

You can't always control what happens to you, but you can
always control how you react to what happens to you
.

Did you get that? Please read that again as it's that
important.

In life, any number of things can happen -- good or bad. As
someone far brighter than I once said, "the only constant thing in life is
change."

So, no matter what may have happened to us, whether it was someone taking advantage of us, a shift in the economy that led to being downsized, the death of a loved one or
virtually any other situation you choose to apply to this,
the simple truth remains -- how we choose to react to it is
well within our control.

That is not to say that it's always going to be easy,
sometimes it means accepting things we have a hard time
accepting, and taking corrective measures that are anything
but comfortable.

However, the powerful thing about acknowledging this truth
is that in doing so we come to realize that we are able to
get over simply accepting the role of victim -- the part
that says, this happened to me -- this is why I'm this way,
and as a result I can't do anything to change where I am.

Instead we are able to move to a more empowering position
of, this happened, but by taking action I can change my
particular situation for the better.

Through fully embracing the belief that you have control
over how you react to what occurs in your life you unleash
your personal greatness. You no longer have to accept that
you are at the mercy of whatever may come your way, but
rather that you can take an active role in defining, and in
turn get on with living your perfect life.

ITS YOUR LIFE, LIVE BIG!!

Be Courageous!!!

Aristotle believed, and I think correctly, that courage is
the first of the human virtues, because it makes the others
possible.

Courage is the ability to exercise your free will and make
things happen in the face of setbacks and unforeseen
challenges, by selecting healthy role models and mentors and
taking daily actions that define who you are to become.

We are not what society and randomness have made us. Take for example the fonding fathers of America, most of them arrived into the new world with nothing
more than hope and a willingness to do whatever it takes to
achieve their own dream.

We are what we have chosen to be from
the depth of our very souls and being. We are made
based upon our beliefs.

No significant decisions -- personal or business -- have
ever been undertaken without the attendant feelings of
anxiety and uncertainty. The commitment to wade
through these inevitable crises is the meaning of courage.

To gain courage is to change your beliefs about what you
deserve and about what's possible with patience and
persistence.

Get out of your comfort zone and stretch your limitations
this week!

THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING!!!

Thomas Edison dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity, he began where he stood to put his dream into action, and despite more than ten thousand failures, he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality. Practical dreamers do not quit.

What About Dreams?

A dream is simply something that you want. And where do
dreams come from? You make them up. Some are based on needs
such as putting healthy food on the table or sending your
kids to a good school.

Some of them are based on desires such as writing a book,
buying a home, or traveling to an exotic location. But by
far, the most profound dreams are those that are the
expression of your life's purpose. Some things you need to kknow about dreams.

* You have to have a dream to have a dream come true.

* Believing in your dream is an essential component.

* There are signs showing you which way to go. Learn to read
and act on them.

* There is often lag time between imagining your dream and
making it happen.

* You have the ability to make your dreams happen but it
will require your willingness to do whatever it takes.

* On the other side of fear are great lessons. Stay more
committed to your dream than to your doubt.

* As you complete one dream, it's time for another. Don't
ever be afraid to cross the finish line. There are always
more dreams available.

It's your life, dream big, live big!!

Dream Big, Dream Bold

What invites you to conceive of brave, big, and bold dreams
in your life?

Martin Luther King dreamed brave dreams. "I have a dream
that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true
meaning of its creed: all men are created equal."

John F. Kennedy dreamed bold dreams. Kennedy stated his
dream in May of 1961. "I believe that this nation should
commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is
out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely
to the Earth."

The dream became a reality on July 20, 1969, when Apollo 11
commander Neil Armstrong took a small step for himself and a
giant step for mankind, leaving a dusty trail of footprints
on the moon.

What about your bold dreams? What is in the imagination of
your heart for your goals?

Do you dream in ways that create more meaning to your life?

Start dreaming today!!

The Dawn

Do you ever notice what the dawn is really like? Take a look
at it some time and you will notice a regeneration taking
place.

Nature doesn't have to motivate itself to begin a new day.
It begins naturally with the dawn. The sun rises over the
horizon, animal sounds begin to pervade the silence, trees
and plants awaken and a new day has surfaced.

What is your dawn like? Do you wake up and habitually do the
same things without any real awareness?

Many people begin their days with an automatic set of
thoughts, actions and feelings. What we often forget is that
each dawn is an opportunity to create the day we want. It
doesn't "dawn" on us that we can do this so instead we let
the same old thoughts, feelings and actions take over and
then we wonder why our days seem to be the same.

The earth awakens each dawn to reveal life. How do you
awaken each day?

Happy New Year!!

Hi everyone,
God bless and happy new year, it's been quite a while here, it's been work, work lately, however I have made up my mind that I will blog this year, new year resolution you can say, LOL!, so see more of you around.

TC everyone.

I just got this in my mail, I think it's a great story, so I decided to share.

In 1883, a creative engineer named John Roebling was inspired by an idea to build a spectacular bridge connecting New York with Brooklyn, however bridge building experts throughout the world thought that this was an impossible feat and told Roebling to forget the idea. It just could not be done. It was not practical. It had never been done before.

Roebling could not ignore the vision and after much discussion and persuasion he managed to convince his son Washington, an up and coming engineer, that the bridge in fact could be built. Working together for the first time, the father and son developed concepts of how it could be accomplished and how the obstacles could be overcome. With great excitement and inspiration, and the headiness of a wild challenge before them, they hired their crew and began to build their dream bridge.

The project started well, but when it was only a few months underway a tragic accident on the site took the life of John Roebling. Washington was injured and left with a certain amount of brain damage, which resulted in him not being able to walk or talk or even move.

In spite of the mockery and his handicap Washington was never discouraged and still had a burning desire to complete the bridge and his mind was still as sharp as ever. . Suddenly an idea hit him. All he could do was move one finger and he decided to make the best use of it. By moving this, he slowly developed a code of communication with his wife.

He touched his wife's arm with that finger, indicating to her that he wanted her to call the engineers. Then he used the same method of tapping her arm to tell the engineers what to do. It seemed foolish but the project was under way again.

For 13 years Washington tapped out his instructions with his finger on his wife's arm, until the bridge was finally completed. Today the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge stands in all its glory as a tribute to the triumph of one man's indomitable spirit and his determination not to be defeated by circumstances. It is also a tribute to the engineers and their team work, and to their faith in a man who was considered mad by half the world. It stands too as a tangible monument to the love and devotion of his wife who for 13 long years patiently decoded the messages of her husband and told the engineers what to do.

Perhaps this is one of the best examples of a never-say-die attitude that overcomes a terrible physical handicap and achieves an impossible goal.

Even the most distant dream can be realized with determination and persistence.

It's your life, live big!!!

Have You Lost Your Focus?

We all know how important it is to focus on what we want.

But what happens when we lose focus?

It's easy to do, isn't it?

We get distracted. Something captures our interest and
diverts our attention away from our chosen objective.
We suffer setbacks. Things don't work out as planned.
Someone lets us down. Circumstances change and good plans go
bad. We get interrupted. An important matter takes precedence, sometimes for long periods of time.

We must first recognize that we've lost focus. And at the
earliest opportunity, we must recommit. We have to get back
on the horse we fell off from and ride again.

And this is what separates the winners from the losers.

The loser says it's too hard. He says it's not worth the
effort. He thinks it's just "not in the cards" and he quits.
But the winner doesn't take setback personally. She
dusts herself off and recommits to the plan. She sees the
setback as just that -- a setback -- not a sign that it's
not to be.

Today's a new day. The past is just as historic as if it had
happened a thousand years ago. You can't change what's
happened or not happened. But you can recommit. You can
refocus.

You can start anew.

So do it today. Remember the power of TNT -- Today, Not
Tomorrow.

"I have a written plan for the things I want to achieve in
my life. I spend time each day focusing on the things I want
to see come to fruition. I apply action on the things I have
written down and in doing so I am moving in the direction of
my intended desires -- for the good of all concerned."

Leave The World A Bit Better

One of Ralph Waldo Emerson works was a poem on success, and
one of his measures of success in that poem was to, 'Leave
the world a bit better.'

That line has always stuck in my head. Emerson said you have
succeeded if you leave the world a bit better. And I have
made that line part of my life philosophy. When the tide
goes out there is a watermark left behind of where the water
was.

When the waters of life recede from the shore of my being
and my heart pumps for the last time, my desire is that
there will be a mark where I stood. My aim is that the mark
will say, 'She has done what she could.'

Our society tells us that success is measured by bank
accounts, power, beauty and wealth. These are often the
result of hard work, luck or birth. They are not evil and I
strive for some of them daily. However, they are not the
mark I will measure the success of my life with.

So how do you do it? How do you 'leave the world a bit better?

"I am ever on the lookout to leave a positive impact on
others. Everyday that I live up to my full potential I have
the chance to be a glowing example for others to do the same."

-- It's your life, LIVE BIG!

HEY!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Symptons Of Success

Just getting back from a tour from the US.
I met a lot of successful people during my stay there.
And it occurred to me that despite their
different nationalities, faiths and businesses they all had
something in common. They had all overcome big setbacks. As
a matter of fact, their success was in direct proportion to
the size of the challenges they faced.

The big idea: setbacks are symptoms of success. If you are
not facing setbacks then you are probably not dreaming big
enough. If you are not experiencing setbacks you are
probably playing small with your life.

Without roadblocks there are no victories. Challenges forge
the greatness in you. They let you know what isn't working.
They force you to be creative. They are the road to your NLG
(Next Level of Greatness).

So, the next time you face a setback take a moment to
celebrate. I know that roadblocks can be frustrating or
depressing or embarrassing. Yet, the best among us find a
way to keep on acting in the rainstorm of these emotions
(and like rainstorms, emotions eventually pass).

Think of the sales rep who makes the next call after a
rejection or the athlete who works as hard at physiotherapy
as their game when injured, or the student who changes their
study habits after a failed exam. They all keep moving
towards their mountaintop because they all know that the
path to their greatest life is never straight.

...And that's what I'm doing!!

Rules For A Perfect Day

Just for today...

I will try to live and delight in the reality of being
alive. My past is forever gone, my future an uncertainty, so
I will be happy and thankful for each moment.

I will not allow negative input into my mind... happiness is
a choice and I choose to be happy.

I will be thankful to God for my health, my loved ones, my
business, and my country. I will also be thankful for any
pain in crisis that helps me grow because God has said, be
thankful in all things.

I will treat everyone I meet today the way I would like to
be treated. I will strive to have them like themselves
better when they're with me.

I will avoid gossip, jealousy, and negative thinking. Most
people don't think about what they talk about. Today, I
will make a conscious effort to hold loving and beautiful
thoughts in my mind.

I will not take rejection personally. I am first and
foremost in the people business and, thus, realize they can
only reject my proposal and not me. I will keep on keepin'
on.

I will spend time in prayer, asking God to let others see
the light of His shining love through me.

...And most of all I WILL BE HAPPY!!

Pls Read To The End!!

A friend forwarded this story to me.
I simply loved it so I decided to share with you.
Enjoy!!

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a
well. The animal cried piteously for hours as
the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the
well needed to be covered up anyway;
just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and
help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began
to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the
donkey realized what was happening and cried
horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he
quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally
looked down the well. He was astonished at what
he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his
back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel
dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it
off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey
stepped up over the edge of the well and
happily trotted off!

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds
of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well
is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out
of the deepest wells just by not stopping,
never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.

Live simply and appreciate what you have.

Give more.

Expect less. . . . .

Perseverance

One inch at a time. That is how I climb and that is how I live. Sure, the summit is my goal, but without each carefully calculated move, I could never make it to the top. Each small step and each giant reach presents a unique challenge. As I move up the cliff, I recognize characteristics of the rock and then adapt learned techniques to advance further toward the goal.

My father taught me perseverance by his example. I remember him going back to college when I was little. He worked all day, attended classes in the evening and then came home to study. I don’t know how he did it, but somehow the yard work got done and he kept the car maintained. I never have asked him how he managed, but he did. When I was just ten years old, my father received his degree. It took him many years, but he reached his goal and then moved on to other challenges.

As I reach the summit, I look back down and enjoy the moment. Then I gather my gear and start planning my next climb. One inch at a time.

Never give up, remember this: before the breakfast of champions there was the breakfast of failures.
