A B...Z

live by the letters

Athough things are not perfect
Because of trials and pain
Continue inthanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what u know
Imagine life without his love
Joy will cease to be
Keep thanking him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "camp complaining"
No weapon that is known
On earth can yeild the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at Hand
Start everyday with worship
To thank is a command
Untill we see him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
eXalting God most high
Yes there will be good times and there will be bad times, but
Zion waits in glory where none are ever sad!

That is beautiful!

Thank you for visiting my site...I'm so glad that you like it, and I hope that you do visit often.

Besides being figure-conscious, we have a couple of other things in common:
1. I'm also a Christian & that's why I love YOUR blog.
2. Anne of Green Gables is an all time FAVORITE of mine. I was addicted to the movie and the books when I was young. I was Anne & my best friend would be Diana when we would play outside for recess.

Those were the days...

I guess that tendency toward complaining must be about as old as the human race. That's what Job is doing in the Book of Job in the Bible, when God, from out of the whirlwind, basically tells him to shut up.

In psychology they call it "self defeating inner monologs" or "negative self talk." In Buddhism they speak in terms of not being mindful and getting caught up in ego reactions.

I guess it's something everyone has some degree of a tendency toward. Thing is, it does no good. Even after you learn this, at least speaking for myself, I have to keep relearning it!

Christabelle,
Please, kindly publish this post as an illustrated children's book for moral instruction in schools starting with schools in Nigeria.

The lesson from each alphabet should be on a page with a good illustration.

Please.

God bless.
