Thank God It's Friday!

Wow! Thank God it's Friday! Well does anybody feel like I do? I mean the week has been hectic and I can't wait for Saturday to do all my laundry and stuff and RELAX, I mean Rest! it's important you know.
I found this story in a book and it was really funny, would like to share, its called

Confused Child

A certain little girl, when asked her name, would say, "I'm Mr Sugarbrown's daughter"

Her mother always corrected her. "You must say, "I'm Jane Sugarbrown," the mother explained.

The following Sunday, the minister spoke to her in Sunday School and said, "Aren't you Mr Sugarbrown's daughter?"

The little girl replied, "I thought I was, but mother says I'm not"

Ha, talk about identity crises, but the truth is that most of us are really like that we don't know who we are.

Have a beautiful weekend, all of ya!

I'm very thankful as well that it is Friday. It's been a hectic week (some nice, some not so nice). The hubby is off this weekend and we get to sleep in, go to a ball game, and generally just hang out (i've been able to get most of my homework done during the week).

That's a very cute story you found...reminds me of a story my mom told me once...her father had wanted a boy but got her instead. to "make up for it" instead of calling her "emily" he called her "albie" (his name was albert) and taught her about fishing, camping, and generally treated her like a boy. When it came time for her to start school the teacher did roll call. When her name came up the teacher said "Emily h." and my mom didn't responde. She didn't know/realize that her name was emily cuz her daddy always called her albie!!

Well, for IPCs like us, it makes no difference. We own our life our time and our finance. Poor you. what if there were no weekends. thanks for the story but of all the problems I've had, identity crises seems not to be one of them
